What is the event about and what to expect?
In the today's Apple's "Time Flies" event it is mostly going to be about the Apple Watch Series 6 and newly and anticipated Apple Watch SE which is going to be more affordable which lesser features compared to Watch series 6.
Apple is said to be not launching the iPhones in this Time Flies event but as the AR (Augmented Reality) invite suggests the LiDar Scanner on the new iPhones. And the invite is in gradient blue color which may be suggesting to the new rumoured color Navy/Midnight Blue which is supposed to be replacing the Midnight Green color in the current lineup of iPhone 11 Pro series.
Thus, the event invite suggests Apple might introduce the world with the new iPhones in the Time Flies event.
AirTags, AirPower and HomePod mini might be launched today at Apple.

Apple is allegedly coming up with the Apple iPhone (obviously), Watch, & iPad
There are other speculated developments in AirPower - Apple's Wireless Charger, and AirTag too which is supposed to be helpful in tracing your belongings, more to know.
Apple is speculated to be coming up with four iPhone models this year - iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
iPhones 12 Pro Max (6.7-inch) is highly speculated to be coming with 120Hz refresh rate, LiDar Scanner which will improve the Augmented Reality and it'll also help in improving camera results too as it will help the camera modules with the improved light sense, 5G with mmWave length technology, certainly A14 Bionic Chipset.
And a secret little info Sshh! As the Apple Event invite's suggests the new blue colours and LiDar Scanner on the iPhone as it is in Augmented reality. We've also heard and somewhere seen the proof it in existence in new Navy Blue/Midnight Blue color. Feel free to share the secret.
iPhone's other model will come with 5G but not with mmWave technology.
Got to know these years iPhones (all models) are coming up with OLED screen panels but to be taken with pinch of salt.
Certainly, the Apple Watch series 6 is also coming as a companion to the new iPhones. What would be new in Apple Watch series 6 is very less known out in the rumour mills. One thing what can be said is Apple will and shall come up with a feature to be helpful with the current covid situation around the world. Which will be helpful to be safe and have peace of mind in the current situations.
Apple is also speculated to be launching new iPad Air with iPad Pro design language (i.e bezel less and all screen design), with TouchID on the Power button on the top and iPad mini is also doing the rounds of rumours to be launch with similar concepts. They're said to be coming in new screen sizes due to new design language but similar form factor.
As the iOS 14, iPadOS 14, macOS Big Sur, watchOS 6 shall be launched on 15th September, 2020 in the same week.
